Our doctors also diagnose and treat facial pain, facial injuries, and TMJ disorders and perform a full range of dental implant and bone grafting procedures.
About Us
After graduation from dental school, oral and maxillofacial surgery requires additional years of hospital-based surgical and anesthesia training. As oral and maxillofacial surgeons, our doctors manage various problems relating to the mouth, teeth, and facial regions. This includes techniques to rebuild bone structure with minimal surgical intervention and optimal patient comfort.
Our staff is trained in assisting with Intravenous (IV) sedation or outpatient general anesthesia in our state-of-the-art office setting. Patients are continuously monitored during and after surgery.
OUR FOUNDER
Dr. James A. Baker
For more than 40 years, Dr. James A. Baker provided exceptional care to patients throughout Oklahoma City. Board-certified since 1981, Dr. Baker founded our practice back in 2004. We are thankful for his legacy of service and leadership, and while Dr. Baker is now happily retired, we continue to uphold him as an integral part of the OKC-OMS family.

Surgical Staff
The surgical staff at OKC-OMS are experienced, certified oral and maxillofacial surgical assistants, who assist in administration of IV sedation and surgery. All staff are informed administrative personnel, well-versed in health and insurance policies, and are CPR certified.
